Written in a classical manner this particular material is Gwincinski’s attempt to solve problem of the time and the proportions. Obsessive repetitiveness (but not minimalistic) brings the impression that the whole undertaking is more about some game theory then the music structure. Cumulation of this Idea is the fifth part – Music, based on famous Mozart’s Eine Kleine.
Evolution of the trio rise from some underwritten irony and sarcasm to monumental sadness of the last part where, as Gwincinski mentions: Goddess appears Herself.
Cythera Trio is musical story as well. Each part is the episode of the adventure. A group of daredevils decided to reach Cythera Island and finally meet the Goddess V.
Piano part is performed by Piotr Słopecki who’s recording of Kunst der Fuge was the first polish complete recording of famous Bach composition (DUX). On the violin and cello two young promising talents: Katarzyna Składanek & Dominika Żur.
The design of the music on this album is in „found footage” manner.
